Helsinki NMKY offers adults the opportunity to take part in enjoyable exercise groups! During the 2025–2026 season, the adult sports includes women’s basketball courses held in both central Helsinki and Pakila.

Try a session for free before committing and find the activity that suits you best!

Women’s Basketball Course

All women interested in basketball or fun group exercise are welcome to join - no previous experience is needed. All you need is indoor sportswear and a water bottle. The sessions are led by Helsinki NMKY's experienced coaches.
You can try one session free of charge, after which you are expected to commit to the group. Register through the link to reserve your spot.

Autumn Season

1 September – 14 December 2025

Breaks (no sessions):

  • School autumn holiday week, 13–17 October 2025

Season Fees

You must register before attending sessions. Once registered, you will receive an invoice for the season fee. If needed, you may cancel your registration within seven (7) days after your first trial session.

If you participate weekly:

  • One group: €225 / autumn season
  • Two groups: €420 / autumn season
  • Three groups: €585 / autumn season

Alternatively, you can choose:

  • Single visit: €21
  • 5-session card: €99
  • 10-session card: €185

In addition to the season fee, all participants are charged a Helsinki NMKY membership fee of €25 (total €50 per year). The membership fee is billed twice a year (€25 in autumn and €25 in spring).
Please note: The membership fee cannot be paid with employee benefit vouchers and is not charged from participants purchasing a 1-, 5-, or 10-session card.

Cancellations and Terms

Registration can be cancelled free of charge within seven (7) days after the first trial session. After that, registration becomes binding for the entire season.

If a person registers but does not attend and fails to cancel before the invoice due date, 50% of the season fee will be charged.

Not attending the sessions does not count as a cancellation.

Note: Late or unpaid invoices are subject to reminder and collection fees, as well as interest charges, which are always the participant’s responsibility.
