Multicultural fathers
Multicultural Fathers is a three-year development project funded by STEA.
The project period is 2024-2026, during which:
- We will support and strengthen the parenting of fathers who have immigrated to the country and the well-being of families with an immigrant background in situations of separation.
- We will increase information about the situation and needs of fathers who have divorced or are living in a situation of separation.
- We will improve fathers' opportunities and conditions for parenting that supports the balanced growth and well-being of their children.
- We will organize group activities and father-child activities aimed at fathers.
The aim of the activities is to strengthen fathers' resources, promote the well-being of fathers and children, and build stronger fatherhood together with the participants. The project will implement, among other things, group activities in the mother tongue aimed at fathers, as well as activities and leisure activities aimed at fathers and children. Our core values are equality and respect, and the focus of the work is on the child's right to a good and balanced childhood.
